HomeFood Programs

Our food programs help those who struggle.

We have several different food programs that are available to help those in need. As a non-profit organization, we are able to provide those who are struggling with food instability, a lack of community feel, or other issues to get a good meal in a safe, comfortable environment. Some of our food programs include:

Food Programs

Community Meals

Our community meals are open to anyone who is hungry or lonely. There are no eligibility requirements, and families and individuals are welcome.

Sundays 4:30pm – 6:00pm

Food Pantry

Families and individuals can shop for grocery items once per week. We provide a food choice pantry, meaning that we give our clients the dignity of choosing their own food items, much like they would in a grocery store. This also ensures they take home the products they know they will use and that their family will enjoy, rather than simply being handed a bag of food that might go to waste. Our food pantry includes produce, fruit, canned goods, meat, bakery items, and more.

Anyone can come to us to “shop” in our pantry during our pantry hours. Just come to the back of the warehouse. While we do complete a small bit of paperwork for our records, we do not require verification of income. All are welcome!

Donations are also accepted during our pantry hours:

MUNCH Backpack Program

Meals Until No Child Hungers (MUNCH) is our school backpack program. Partners of Share the Table and community individuals have teamed up to help serve Topsail area elementary and middle schools. Food is packed in backpacks and sent home every Friday with students in need. This program is also offered throughout the summer when backpacks are delivered by volunteers to those children in need. In 2019, we also added a food closet to the high school.

We would love to give you more information on any of our food programs. Please contact us to learn more!
